Even as a franchise, there are some stats that just don’t agree with the “modern game”.
Bill gorman had 17 TDs in 1961
3 more guys had 12 in n the 1960’s.
That is the franchise leader.
Post NFL merger, Jeffries and givens both had a season with 10.
The team also has a franchise leader with 101 catches, Charlie Hennigan in 64’.
Jeffries had 100 in 91’.
Mason is next with 96 and the highest after the move.
There’s only been 5 WR to ever reach 1200 yards. Hennigan is top dog with 1746, Mason reached 1303 as titans lead.
Just a little surprising considering the old days of a pass happy offense, just spread around pretty well.
I’d have to go franchise by franchise to compare some poverty, but I bet Ten is actually pretty close to middle of the pack.
Bears come to mind and jets since their historical QB play is so bad as pretty much the bottom.
